If you do a search on Google for ‘ascii art’ you will see that Google now shows their logo in ASCII art. This is not the first time Google has experienced ASCII art in their search results. There have been a number of Adwords ads that have had ASCII art in them as pictured below.

Using ASCII art in ad's helped improve CTR as the ad's stood out amongst the other text only ads.
